Thank you for your interest in joining the Dr. John Codington Elementary School Family. Deciding where to send your child for elementary school is an exciting decision to make.  In New Hanover County Schools, you can attend your districted elementary school, or you can apply for a choice school including magnet programs and year round schools.  We would love for you to consider applying to Codington in order to be included in the lottery process.  The links below include helpful resources to determine timelines and the application and enrollment processes.

There is so much to love about Codington including our love for learning and love for each other.  High expectations for staff and students guide our focus as we foster an inclusive and nurturing environment where risk taking is encouraged.  We are committed to actively engaging our youth in citizenship and service.
